Thank you for your interest in reviewing for Journal of Korean Dialysis Access.

Journal of Korean Dialysis Access is an open access, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in all areas of access for dialysis. While The Korean Society for Dialysis Access strive to accomplish the highest impact research within these disciplines, Journal of Korean Dialysis Access is committed to publishing important advances of significance to specialists within each field and multidisciplinary research across fields.

This is a guideline for reviewers who voluntarily participate in peer review process Journal of Korean Dialysis Access. All the journal's contents including commissioned manuscripts are subject to peer-review.

Double Blind Peer Review

We use double blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

Reporting guidelines

We encourage reviewers to use relevant reporting guidelines to help assess the submission. The EQUATOR Network provides clinical guidelines, while FAIRsharing list clinical and general science guidelines.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts under peer review should be strictly confidential. Reviewers must not share manuscripts or discuss their content with anyone outside the peer review process. Reviewers will be anonymous to the authors unless they choose to disclose their identity by signing the review report.

Conflicts of interest

Reviewers should decline to review a submission when they:

  • Have a recent publication or current submission with any author
  • Share or have recently shared an affiliation with any author
  • Collaborate or have recently collaborated with any author
  • Have a close personal connection to any author
  • Have a financial interest in the subject of the work
  • Feel unable to be objective

Applications to review

We appreciate applications to joint our community of peer reviewers. In each case our editors invite the most appropriate scientists from their own network or via our recommendation list. To ensure we have your up-to-date contact details, interested reviewers should register for a user account.
